We are excited to announce the City's Annual Clean and Green is back! Last year it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this year this citywide effort is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2021. Residents and block clubs are encouraged to volunteer to clean up litter and debris in their neighborhoods, blocks, and vacant lots (following social distancing and mask guidelines).
Residents and groups interested in volunteering for Clean and Green are asked to first identify a worksite, and then call 311 to register their volunteer group by Monday, April 19, 2021 or fill out this form and email it to our office at info@ward32.org. The City will provide the brooms, rakes, shovels, and bags needed to complete each cleaning project. Also - please let us know about your efforts so that we can promote it and direct neighbors to volunteer with you!
