Community Engagement Opportunity on Chicago Police Department’s Search Warrant Policy

The Chicago Police Department (CPD) is launching a new community engagement opportunity on its Search Warrant policy. Open engagement of this policy will be from November 1st, 2022 until December 31st, 2022 and is posted on the CPD website. CPD is seeking community review, input, and feedback on this policy. We welcome requests and invite all to engage on this policy to continue to create mutual respect and to have the community’s voices heard in creating trustworthy relationships between the community and the police. To ensure a robust engagement and inclusion on policy reform, we have different forms for community engagement:

  • Community Conversation 1- Tuesday, November 15th @ 6:30pm Click Here to Register

  • Community Conversation 2- Thursday, December 8th @ 6:30pm Click Here to Register

  • Deliberative Dialogues - in-person or virtual - Click here to sign up for a deliberative dialogue

  • Anonymous online input form - Click Here to Provide Your Anonymous Input

  • Comments on CPD Website - Click here to read the policy and provide your feedback
