If you’d rather vote from the comfort of your home, we recommend applying now! Give yourself extra time to receive your ballot and return it in time.
All Vote By Mail ballots come with postage-paid Ballot Return Envelopes. When you receive your Vote By Mail ballot, you may return it through standard US mail and must postmark it before or on Election Day, February 28, 2023.
You may also submit the Ballot Return Envelope in one of any 52 Secure Drop Boxes at any Chicago Early Voting location before Election Day! Your ballot is ensured to be collected by that evening after the Early Voting polls close.
