Paving the Way Project, Inc. and the Greater Bethesda MB Church will have a kid's coat giveaway on Monday and will be accepting coat donations tomorrow (Saturday, 1/16) from 10-4pm at 109 E 53rd St. Register here to help out.
ChiGivesBack is hosting a day of service at Martin Luther King Jr. Prep at 4445 S Drexel Blvd and is looking for volunteers to paint murals and re-organize rooms. You may select a shift time and Register here. (This event is full but check back for additional information)
On Monday, January 18th My Block, My Hood, My City will be donating PPE to seniors and leading a cleanup at the MLK Gardens with the Rosemoor Community Association on 99th and King Dr. Register here.
Chicago Area Peace Corps member Margaret Sheridan has organized a volunteer event at the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD) on Tuesday, January 26th. Click here for more information and how to register (the "register now" button will direct you to the GCFD website). You must apply by Wednesday, January 20th! COVID precautions are in place.
The Forest Preserves of Cook County invites volunteers to participate in a self-led litter pick-up at the Dan Ryan Woods and other area nature centers. Gloves and bags will be available at the visitor center. Click here for more info. Registration is required.
