Note from Alderman

Last week was spring break for Chicago Public School families. 2020 going into 2021 has been a tough one for a number of people for a myriad of reasons. It's nice to see that this spring feels much more hopeful that we're finally turning a corner with the worldwide pandemic that still has us navigating the waters for over a year. I encourage you reflect on this experience and take stock of the things that you've learned to value during this time. With that said, I am excited that the City announced two new mass vaccine sites opening on Monday to help us get back to the normalcy! Details are listed below.

You'll also find information on the street sweeping schedule, job opportunities with Chicago Park District, and neighborhood events.

For the Lincoln water project (Wellington to Belmont), there is a small update that saw cutting and pipe excavation will commence on Monday 4/5/21. We will continue to provide updates as we get them.

Stay healthy and safe,

Alderman Scott Waguespack
