CDOT has just announced the opening of our annual shared cost sidewalk program on January 9th, 2023, from 6 am to 10 pm.
This annual program allows residents and business owners to pay a reduced cost to the city for sidewalk repair. This supplements menu and city sidewalk repair funding. To apply, residents need to make a request to 311 by phone or online during the application window and specify "shared cost sidewalk program" to be included. Spots will fill almost immediately, so applying early in the day is encouraged.
Applicants will then have their sidewalks surveyed (any specific requests for a smaller scope should be recorded in the initial request) and have the fee amount mailed and/or emailed to them by around late spring. Applicants that submit payment will have their sidewalks repaired, usually during the same year (2023).
