All side streets connections and water services transfers are completed between Kedzie and N California Ave on the Armitage project. Two crews are still working on the project to complete it as soon as the weather and logistics allow. Crew 1 pressure tested the new water main between California and Rockwell passed, installed 1 CB ( catch basin ) and replaced the outlet per compliance regulations with the Illinois Environmental Protection agency. Crew 2 installed a total of 215’ of 12” Water main and will continue the installation of the new water main between Rockwell and N Milwaukee Ave. Restoration work will continue between N Kedzie and N California Ave. There are no trees to be removed and no ComEd manholes to be relocated at this stage There are also no scheduled water service shut downs for this week.
