Horween Leather Co., a Lincoln Park leather producer founded in 1905 that supplies global leaders in consumer and sporting goods, was honored as a Chicago Legacy Industrial Business at the 2023 Chicago Manufacturing Awards.
Horween Leather has been in business at the corners of Ashland, Elston and Armitage for over 100 years. Horween Leather Company produces many different full grain and corrected grain leathers. Its leather is used in a number of products including footwear, sports equipment (NFL and NBA balls), bags, belts, wallets, briefcases, suitcases, jackets, coats, and other apparel and accessories.
