Growing Hope Concert

JCC Chicago, in partnership with the Chicago Cubs, will present the Growing Hope concert at Gallagher Way Tuesday, August 8, at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature Violins of Hope, a project of concerts based on instruments that have been collected since the end of World War II. The instruments were once played by Holocaust victims and survivors, some in concentration camp orchestras. Growing Hope will tell the stories of these historic instruments juxtaposed against today’s most popular genres of music.

This free concert will be hosted by TikTok superstar Montana Tucker. Other featured guests include last season’s “America’s Got Talent” first runner-up Avery Dixon, Nashville-based singing sisters The BoykinZ and more surprise guests.

In response to growing antisemitism and hate crimes that have doubled in Chicago over the past year, Growing Hope is an expansion of the current six-month, state-wide residency of Violins of Hope.
